Hi I just stumbled upon this group & would love to know if anyone knows easily accessible abandoned buildings in the SF Valley, specifically Burbank, Glendale or NoHo, for a photo shoot. Any & all ideas are welcome... thanks in advance!!!

I live in La Crescenta, just above Glendale, and I can't think of a single abandoned building which is accessible anywhere near me. The few that are currently in that state are well fenced off and guarded, one which comes to mind is the old Glendale Air Terminal building on Air Way near the Burbank border.

That's where I live! There are a couple of abandoned houses here in Northridge which have signs on them saying that you shouldn't come in. Also there is the Earthquake Garden at the CSUN campus and some random pillars of the library hanging out, remnants of the Northridge Earthquake.

Those houses have signs because they are still involved in insurance lawsuits and they don't want people going in & disturbing them for investigation purposes.

Hello, I know this thread was left some time ago, however, I too live in the San Fernando Valley and would like to know about abandoned houses / buildings. I live in Woodland Hills, and would like to find some here on the west end if I can, but anywhere in the Valley would do. I'd also be interested in finding some over the hill in Malibu, Santa Monica, ect.

I live in Burbank and just found this site today, there are a few older factories along the railroad parallel to the 5 freeway and a few old hangers and large garages over by bob hope airport i know I'm a bit late to the party but i figured id try to contribute any way.
